NTPC, Coal India, ONGC, Oil India, P&G Health and Indigo Paints are among the key dividend stocks to track this week. TCC Concept and Integrated Proteins will also see stock splits, while Jonjua Overseas has a bonus issue.

Upcoming Dividend This Week: The corporate action calendar is packed this week, with several companies set to trade ex-dividend between August 31 and September 4. NTPC, Coal India, ONGC, Oil India, Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care, AIA Engineering and Indigo Paints are among the prominent names.

Alongside dividends, investors will also track a stock split in TCC Concept, a subdivision in Integrated Proteins and a bonus issue by Jonjua Overseas.

Some of the notable dividend payouts scheduled during the week are:

NTPC has announced a final dividend of ₹3.50 per share for the financial year ended March 31, 2026. September 2 is the record date for determining shareholders eligible for the payout. The dividend will be paid on or after September 23, 2026, subject to deduction of tax at source.

Coal India, meanwhile, will trade ex-dividend on September 4 for its final dividend of ₹5.25 per share.

The week begins with several companies going ex-dividend on August 31. These include Ganesh Housing, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Ion Exchange India, Mastek, Orbit Exports and Triveni Engineering & Industries.

On September 1, dividend-related corporate actions include Aeroflex Enterprises, AK Capital Services, Alivus Life Sciences, Bengal & Assam Company, CCL Products (India), Garware Technical Fibres, Jindal Drilling & Industries, Maharashtra Seamless, Oriental Rail Infrastructure, Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care, Rico Auto Industries, Rishiroop, SM Auto Stamping, Suprajit Engineering, Taj Gvk Hotels & Resorts, Unique Organics and Vadilal Enterprises.

The September 2 list features Black Rose Industries, Chemfab Alkalis, Compucom Software, Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital, Gail (India), Gujarat Pipavav Port, Kovilpatti Lakshmi Roller Flour Mills, Magna Electro Castings, NTPC, Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri, Triveni Turbine and Uni Abex Alloy Products. India Glycols is also scheduled for a spin-off on the day.

On September 3, Action Construction Equipment, Birla Precision Technologies, Bansal Roofing Products, Carraro India, Dhoot Industrial Finance, Hindustan Hardy, Interarch Building Solutions, Lehar Footwears, Nirlon, Pune E-Stock Broking and Rose Merc are among the companies scheduled to trade ex-dividend. Vadilal Industries will also trade ex-dividend for a ₹43 payout.

The September 4 calendar is the busiest, with a long list of companies including Arvind, Coal India, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Federal-Mogul Goetze (India), General Insurance Corporation of India, Gulf Oil Lubricants India, Hikal, Indigo Paints, Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals, Mazda, Metro Brands, Oil India, ONGC, Paradeep Phosphates, Shipping Corporation of India, Shilpa Medicare, S.P. Apparels, Speciality Restaurants, Stove Kraft, Supriya Lifescience and Venus Pipes & Tubes.

Dividends are not the only corporate actions scheduled during the week.

TCC Concept has fixed September 4 as the record date for a stock split under which every existing share with a face value of ₹10 will be subdivided into five shares of ₹2 each.

Integrated Proteins will also undergo a stock split on September 4. Its ₹10 face-value shares will be split into shares with a face value of ₹1 each.

Meanwhile, Jonjua Overseas has a bonus issue in the ratio of 7:24, with September 4 as the relevant ex-date.

India Glycols is scheduled for a spin-off on September 2.

Another corporate action to watch is that of Transformers and Rectifiers (India), which fixed September 18 as the record date for a proposed dividend of ₹0.25 per share, representing 25% of the ₹1 face value.

The dividend is subject to approval at the company's annual general meeting on September 21. If approved, the company said the payout will be made before October 20.

The ex-dividend date determines whether a buyer of a stock will be eligible for an announced dividend. Investors purchasing shares on or after the ex-dividend date generally do not qualify for that particular payout.

On the ex-dividend date, the stock price may also adjust to reflect the dividend going out of the share price.

Investors tracking dividend stocks should therefore check both the ex-dividend date and the company's record date before taking a position.
