MCX, Honasa Consumer, P&G Health, PFC, Gillette India and Deepak Fertilisers are among the key dividend stocks to track this week. The week will also see a bonus issue from Mayank Cattle Food, along with stock splits and rights issues.

Upcoming Dividend This Week: Several stocks will trade ex-dividend this week, starting August 24, with MCX, Honasa Consumer, P&G Health, Power Finance Corporation, Gillette India and Deepak Fertilisers among the companies on the list.

The ex-dividend date is the day from which buyers of the stock are not entitled to the announced dividend. Investors who want to qualify for the dividend need to hold the shares as per the company's record-date requirements.

Some of the larger dividend payouts scheduled this week are:

A number of other companies will also trade ex-dividend during the week.

On August 24, the list includes AMJ Land Holdings, GK Energy, International Gemological Institute, India Pesticides, National Aluminium, Naturewings Holidays, Pudumjee Paper Products, Senco Gold and SJVN.

On August 25, Diffusion Engineers, MAS Financial Services, Mobavenue AI Tech, NR Agarwal Industries, Premco Global and Shivalik Bimetal Controls will trade ex-dividend.

On August 27, Manaksia Coated Metals, Thomas Cook India and Yash Highvoltage are scheduled to go ex-dividend, along with P&G Health, PFC and DOMS Industries.

The August 28 list includes Allied Digital Services, Arvind SmartSpaces, Paras Defence, Studds Accessories and the other stocks mentioned above.

Apart from dividend payouts, Mayank Cattle Food will trade ex-bonus on Monday, August 24, following its 1:1 bonus issue. Eligible shareholders will receive one additional share for every share held.

TD Power Systems will see a stock split from ₹2 per share to ₹1 on August 24, while Waterways Leisure Tourism will split its shares from ₹10 to ₹1 on August 25. Rotographics (India) will undertake a stock split from ₹10 per share to ₹2 on August 28.

In rights issues, Ducon Infratechnologies and Esaar India are scheduled to undertake their respective issues on August 25. Jaykay Enterprises will have its rights issue on August 28.

A stock trades ex-dividend when the upcoming dividend is no longer available to new buyers of the shares. Investors purchasing the stock on or after the ex-dividend date generally will not receive that particular dividend.

The share price can also adjust for the dividend when the stock starts trading ex-dividend.
