    Indian equity markets ended Friday, 10 July 2026, on a strong note, recovering from earlier weakness. The Sensex surged 827.57 points (1.08%) to close at 77,569.39. The Nifty 50 gained 244.10 points (1.02%) to finish at 24,206.90.

    Avenue Supermarts

    Avenue Supermarts reported a solid set of first-quarter numbers. Net profit increased 11.3% year-on-year to ₹860.6 crore, while revenue rose 14.9% to ₹18,794 crore. Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA) climbed 15.4% to ₹1,499 crore, with the EBITDA margin remaining broadly stable at 7.97%.

    HDFC Bank

    HDFC Bank is seeking shareholder approval to raise up to ₹60,000 crore through a combination of Additional Tier-I bonds, Tier-II bonds and long-term infrastructure bonds via private placements.

    Just Dial

    Just Dial posted a 4.1% year-on-year rise in first-quarter net profit, supported by higher revenue. However, its operating margin narrowed during the quarter.

    HCLTech

    HCLTech will announce its June-quarter results on Monday. The earnings release is expected to be one of the key market triggers for the IT sector.

    Sterlite Technologies

    Sterlite Technologies secured a favourable outcome in its European patent dispute with Fujikura Ltd. after the European Patent Office's Technical Board of Appeal revoked Fujikura's European Patent EP 3796060 in its entirety.

    NMDC

    State-owned miner NMDC has revised the prices of its iron ore products with effect from 10 July, according to a regulatory filing.

    Pace Digitek's material subsidiary, Lineage Power Pvt. Ltd., has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bondada Renewable Energy Pvt. Ltd. for the supply of Battery Energy Storage Systems.

    Keystone Realtors

    Keystone Realtors, which operates under the Rustomjee brand, reported first-quarter pre-sales of ₹617 crore, down 42% from ₹1,068 crore in the corresponding period last year.

    Powerica has emerged as the successful bidder in an e-reverse auction conducted by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) for the procurement of electricity from grid-connected wind power projects.

    Fino Payments Bank

    Fino Payments Bank reported healthy business growth for June 2026. New account openings increased 31% year-on-year, while loan referral disbursals more than tripled compared with the same period last year.

    Oil-Sensitive Stocks

    Oil-related stocks like ONGC and RIL are expected to remain in focus following reports that Iran has again moved to shut the Strait of Hormuz. Any sharp movement in crude oil prices could influence shares of oil marketing companies, upstream producers such as Oil India, as well as sectors including paints and tyres that are sensitive to crude price fluctuations.
