Stocks To Watch On 17 July: Wipro, Borosil Renewables, CEAT And More

Wipro, Borosil Renewables, CEAT, HCLTech, Piramal Finance, Havells, PC Jeweller and major Q1 earnings announcements remain in focus after mixed corporate updates and Thursday's flat market close.
Indian equity markets ended largely unchanged on Thursday as gains in information technology stocks were offset by weakness in financial shares. The Sensex closed almost flat at 77,186.87, while the Nifty 50 slipped 5.75 points to 24,072.75. IT stocks advanced on earnings optimism, whereas financials and realty weighed on sentiment.
Key Stocks In Focus
Wipro
Wipro posted a 1.2% decline in constant currency revenue for the June quarter. Its performance lagged behind Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), which reported 0.4% growth, while HCLTech recorded a 0.5% decline in constant currency revenue.
Borosil Renewables
Borosil Renewables delivered a sharp turnaround in its June quarter results, reporting a net profit of ₹86.8 crore, compared with a net loss of ₹166.5 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
CEAT
Tyre manufacturer CEAT reported a 96.4% year-on-year fall in net profit to ₹4 crore for the first quarter of FY27, compared with ₹112 crore in the same period last year.
HCLTech
HCLTech signed a seven-year agreement with The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. As part of the expanded partnership, HCLTech will acquire Guardian India, the insurer's global capability centre, with nearly 2,000 employees joining the company.
Hexaware Technologies
Hexaware Technologies announced a partnership with Factory to introduce agent-native software development capabilities for enterprise clients across sectors including banking, financial services and professional services.
Piramal Finance
Piramal Finance reported a 67% year-on-year rise in consolidated PAT to ₹461 crore for the June quarter, up from ₹276.3 crore a year earlier.
Havells India
Havells India announced an additional investment of approximately ₹255 crore to expand cable manufacturing capacity at its facility in Tumakuru, Karnataka.
Sky Gold and Diamonds
Sky Gold and Diamonds disclosed that its subsidiary, Starmangalsutra Private Ltd, incurred a financial loss of around ₹10.7 crore after an employee's company-issued mobile phone and laptop were compromised in a fraud incident.
PC Jeweller
PC Jeweller's board approved a proposal to raise up to ₹1,000 crore through a Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) in one or more tranches. The company also approved an increase in its authorised share capital, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
