Indian equity markets ended lower on 14 July, with the Sensex falling 561 points (0.72%) to 77,054.94 and the Nifty 50 declining 159 points (0.66%) to 24,052.05. Investor sentiment weakened as escalating Middle East tensions pushed Brent crude oil prices higher, raising concerns over inflation and India's import bill.
Key Stocks In Focus
NBCC (India)
The company said its board has approved a scheme of arrangement to merge its wholly owned subsidiary, HSCC (India) Ltd, with the company on a going-concern basis.
Tata Elxsi
Tata Elxsi reported a rise of 18.2% year-on-year in its net profit. As per the filing, the company registered a net profit of ₹170.6 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2026.
Anand Rathi Share & Stock Brokers
The company began FY27 on a stable footing, supported by strong expansion in its lending and wealth management businesses. Although net profit rose 2.2% from the corresponding period last year, higher net interest income, margin funding and assets under management indicated healthy client activity despite volatile market conditions.
L&T Technology Services
L&T Technology Services (LTTS) posted June-quarter results that slightly exceeded market expectations on revenue, operating margins and constant-currency growth. Profit broadly matched estimates, reflecting a steady quarterly performance.
Delhivery
Delhivery announced that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has granted its wholly owned subsidiary, Delhivery Financial Services Private Limited, a Certificate of Registration (CoR) to operate as a Type II Non-Banking Financial Company – Non-Deposit Taking (NBFC-ND).
IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals
IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals received approval from China's Centre for Drug Evaluation (CDE) under the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for its Clopidogrel Bisulfate Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API), strengthening its presence in international pharmaceutical markets.
Kirloskar Brothers
Kirloskar Brothers said its UK-based material subsidiary, SPP Pumps Ltd, has secured an international contract worth GBP 11.67 million (around ₹149.59 crore) from Saipem Offshore Construction SPA. The order covers the supply of vertical pumps and related spare parts.
Easy Trip Planners
Travel technology company Easy Trip Planners, which operates the EaseMyTrip platform, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Tourism, Government of Jharkhand. The partnership aims to promote the state's tourism destinations through digital campaigns and improve its visibility among domestic travellers.
