Indian equities ended largely flat on Thursday as easing concerns over US interest rates and strong corporate earnings were offset by Middle East tensions and elevated crude prices. The Nifty 50 declined 0.16% to 24,395.85, while the Sensex gained 0.15% to 78,079.96. Nifty Financial Services index and Nifty Bank fell around 0.4% amid concerns over proposed RBI lending-rule changes.
Key Stocks In Focus
Tata Motors PV
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles reported consolidated revenue of ₹95,799 crore for Q1 FY27, up from ₹87,677 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. However, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) fell to ₹6,176 crore from ₹7,758 crore, while the EBITDA margin narrowed to 6.5% from 8.8%.
LG Electronics India
LG Electronics India delivered a strong performance in the June quarter of FY27, with profit, revenue and operating margins improving from a year earlier. Net profit rose 27.2% year-on-year to ₹652.8 crore from ₹513.2 crore, while revenue increased 15.5% to ₹7,233.3 crore from ₹6,262.9 crore.
Honasa Consumer
FMCG company Honasa Consumer reported its highest-ever quarterly profit in Q1 FY27. Net profit increased 118.4% year-on-year to ₹90.2 crore, compared with ₹41.3 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company’s profit after tax margin stood at 11.5%. Revenue also reached a record ₹756 crore, representing a 27% increase from ₹595.2 crore in Q1 FY26.
Max Financial Services
Max Financial Services, the holding company of Axis Max Life Insurance, reported a 33% year-on-year rise in Value of New Business (VNB) to ₹446 crore in Q1 FY27.
Piramal Pharma
Piramal Pharma is expected to see a block deal involving around 6% of the company’s total equity. The proposed transaction could raise approximately ₹1,750 crore for the selling shareholder and may be executed at a small discount to the prevailing market price.
Premier Explosives
Premier Explosives reported an 80.1% year-on-year decline in net profit for the first quarter of FY27. Profit fell to ₹3.1 crore from ₹15.3 crore in the same period last year. The company said operating profitability was affected by higher raw material costs amid prevailing global market conditions.
KRBL
Basmati rice producer KRBL reported a 73.16% year-on-year increase in first-quarter net profit to ₹260.74 crore, compared with ₹150.58 crore in the year-ago period. However, revenue declined 5.6% to ₹1,496 crore from ₹1,585 crore.
Sammaan Capital
Sammaan Capital posted a 27.2% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. Profit stood at ₹243 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹334 crore in the corresponding quarter a year earlier.
Indigo Paints
Indigo Paints recorded a 60% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. Profit rose to ₹41.7 crore from ₹26.1 crore a year earlier, supported by double-digit sales growth and an improvement in operating margins.
Aditya Birla Real Estate
Birla Estates, a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Real Estate, has entered Navi Mumbai’s redevelopment segment with a housing project in Vashi. The development has an estimated revenue potential of around ₹2,600 crore and represents the company’s first project in the micro-market.
