State Bank of India (SBI) Q2 Results Today
SBI shares rise 1.02% towards ₹1,000 ahead of the bank's September-quarter and half-yearly results announcement.

SBI will announce its September-quarter and half-yearly financial results on 3 November 2026. Shares were trading 1.02% higher in early trade, approaching the ₹1,000 mark.

State Bank of India (SBI) is scheduled to consider and approve its unaudited financial results for the half year ended September 2026 on Tuesday, 3 November. The board meeting will cover the September-quarter financial performance as well as the bank's half-yearly numbers.

The results will provide an update on India's largest public sector lender's financial performance during the July-September period. Investors will track changes in income, net profit and earnings per share, alongside comparisons with the corresponding period last year.

For the June 2026 quarter, SBI's total income at ₹1,43,819.15 crore and net profit at ₹21,121.22 crore. The September-quarter announcement will provide the next set of financial figures for comparison.

SBI shares were trading at ₹997.05 at 9:31 am IST on 3 November, up ₹10.05 or 1.02% from the previous close of ₹987. The stock opened at ₹992.70 and touched an early-session high of ₹997.05, while its low stood at ₹989.10.

The stock has gained 5.62% over one week and 4.62% over one month. Its year-to-date return stands at 1.37%, compared with a 9.69% decline in the NIFTY 50.

The September-quarter filing will reveal changes in total income, net profit and earnings per share. Investors will also assess the bank's half-yearly performance against the previous financial year.

The dividend announcement, however, will be another point of interest. SBI's previous dividend payouts indicate a recent upward trend:

  • May 2026: ₹17.35 per share.

  • May 2025: ₹15.90 per share.

  • May 2024: ₹13.70 per share.

The dividend increased across these three annual payouts, although this does not establish whether another distribution will be announced during the current results meeting.

Importantly, the exchange's agenda for 3 November mentions consideration of financial results but does not explicitly list a dividend proposal. Any fresh dividend declaration, its amount and record date therefore remain unconfirmed.

Investors will need to refer to the official board outcome for confirmation of any shareholder payout.
