Solar Industries India Q1 FY27 revenue rose to ₹3,888 crore, while net profit reached ₹666 crore.

Solar Industries India reported strong Q1 FY27 growth, with consolidated revenue rising to ₹3,888.20 crore. Also, the net profit increased to ₹666.37 crore.

Solar Industries India Limited reported a sharp improvement in its financial performance for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. Consolidated revenue from operations rose to ₹3,888.20 crore from ₹2,154.45 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company disclosed the unaudited results on 13 August 2026, following approval by its Board of Directors.

On a consolidated basis, total income stood at ₹3,916.72 crore during the quarter, compared with ₹2,183.71 crore in the year-ago period. Total expenses increased to ₹2,774.01 crore from ₹1,703.01 crore. Despite the higher cost base, profit before share of profit or loss of associates, exceptional items and tax stood at ₹902.71 crore, compared with ₹480.70 crore a year earlier.

The company also reported a share of profit of associates of ₹8.75 crore for the quarter. Consequently, consolidated profit before tax reached ₹911.46 crore. After accounting for current tax of ₹235.55 crore and deferred tax of ₹11.54 crore, consolidated net profit for the period stood at ₹666.37 crore, compared with ₹357.62 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Consolidated basic and diluted earnings per share were both reported at ₹72.11.

Solar Industries' standalone financial performance showed a similar improvement during the quarter. Revenue from operations increased to ₹1,856.32 crore from ₹1,387.15 crore in the year-ago quarter, while other income stood at ₹29.83 crore compared with ₹29.67 crore.

Total income consequently reached ₹1,886.15 crore. Standalone total expenses were ₹1,204.11 crore, against ₹1,041.48 crore in the corresponding period last year. Profit before exceptional items and tax was ₹482.04 crore, compared with ₹375.34 crore in the year-ago period.

After tax expenses, standalone net profit stood at ₹358.38 crore, compared with ₹279.52 crore a year earlier. Basic and diluted earnings per share were ₹39.60, against ₹30.89 in the corresponding quarter.

The standalone results also showed an operating margin of 27.72% and a net profit margin of 21.64% for the quarter. The company reported a debt-equity ratio of 0.07 and a current ratio of 2.59.

The company's financial disclosures also highlighted developments in its funding position. During the quarter, Solar Industries partially redeemed 292 unsecured, rated, listed, senior, redeemable non-convertible debentures with a face value of ₹1,00,000 each, amounting to ₹2.92 crore. It also made an interest payment of ₹0.21 crore at a coupon rate of 7.06% per annum. As of 30 June 2026, the aggregate outstanding NCD amount stood at ₹8.75 crore.

The company also issued commercial paper amounting to ₹75.00 crore in favour of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited during the quarter, with maturity scheduled for 17 September 2026.

At the consolidated level, the company applied Ind AS 29 for its step-down subsidiaries in Turkey. The resulting restatement had a net impact of ₹25.33 crore, which the company debited to other expenses.

The consolidated financial results were reviewed by the statutory auditors under a limited review, while the company's only reportable segment remains explosives, explosive accessories and related services.

As of 11:49 AM on 14 August 2026, Solar Industries India Ltd. shares were trading at ₹20,094.00, down 1.13%.
