QMS Allied Shares Hit 5% Upper Circuit After HCAH Deal
QMS Medical Allied shares gain 5% after HCAH patient support deal.

QMS Medical Allied shares hit the 5% upper circuit at ₹206.47 after the company partnered with HCAH to combine their patient support businesses under Saarathi Healthcare.

QMS Medical Allied Services Limited shares rose 5% on 28 September after the company announced a partnership with Health Care At Home India (HCAH) to combine their pharma services businesses.

The proposed combination will bring the two companies’ patient support program (PSP) businesses together under Saarathi Healthcare, a wholly owned subsidiary of QMS.

At the close of trading, QMS Medical Allied share price stood at ₹206.47 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

The combined platform is expected to operate more than 160 patient support programs, impacting over 1.2 million patients.

It will be backed by more than 2,000 professionals across over 35 cities. The platform will cover multiple stages of the patient journey. The companies said the combination is intended to create a scaled provider of patient support solutions for leading Indian and multinational pharmaceutical companies while maintaining continuity for existing clients, programmes and teams during the transition.

The expanded business will bring together capabilities in health and awareness camps, disease screening, patient enrolment, disease management, therapy initiation, adherence, patient assistance and ongoing patient engagement.

For pharmaceutical companies, this is intended to provide support across more patient touchpoints, from identifying patients and starting therapy to helping them remain on treatment and stay engaged with their care.

The companies pointed to rising chronic disease prevalence, tighter promotional regulations, increasing formalisation of the industry, greater digital adoption and a growing focus on continuous patient monitoring and recovery.

The global patient support services market is estimated at around $70 billion, while the Indian market is projected to grow at a 15–20% CAGR to approximately $1 billion by 2030.
