PC Jeweller Shares In Focus Today After Q2 Revenue Grows 28%, Company Turns Debt-Free

PC Jeweller heads into Thursday's trade after reporting stronger quarterly sales, completing its bank debt repayment and starting recovery of outstanding export receivables.
PC Jeweller shares will be in focus on Thursday, October 8, after the jewellery retailer reported 28% year-on-year growth in consolidated revenue for Q2 FY27, turned debt-free and received around ₹142 crore from outstanding export debtors. The business update was released after market hours on Wednesday, making today's session the first opportunity for investors to react to the developments.
PC Jeweller share price closed 1.62% higher at ₹13.14 on Wednesday, before the Q2 update was announced. The company said healthy consumer demand supported revenue growth during the September quarter, while it also completed repayment of all outstanding bank borrowings ahead of their scheduled due dates.
The debt repayment is expected to reduce interest costs and strengthen PC Jeweller's balance sheet. Meanwhile, the ₹142 crore received from export debtors marks the start of recoveries after the company said the long-pending issue had been resolved through negotiations. Investors will now track PC Jeweller shares when trading resumes on Thursday following the three key updates.
Why PC Jeweller Shares Are In Focus Today
PC Jeweller reported around 28% year-on-year growth in consolidated revenue during the July-September quarter of FY27, supported by healthy consumer demand.
The company has only disclosed a business update for the September quarter and has not yet announced its complete Q2 FY27 financial results.
The latest update follows growth in the preceding quarter. PC Jeweller had reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹877 crore in Q1 FY27, up around 21% from ₹725 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Consolidated net profit for the June quarter stood at ₹222 crore compared with ₹162 crore a year earlier, an increase of around 37%.
PC Jeweller shares ended Wednesday's session at ₹13.14, up 1.62%. Since the latest business update was released after market hours, Thursday's trade will reflect the market's first reaction to the September-quarter update.
PC Jeweller Turns Debt-Free, Receives ₹142 Crore From Export Debtors
Along with its Q2 revenue growth, PC Jeweller said it completed the repayment of all outstanding bank borrowings during the September quarter, ahead of the scheduled due dates.
The company had been working towards reducing its borrowings after opting for a one-time settlement with its consortium of banks in September 2024.
PC Jeweller said having no outstanding bank debt will lead to interest-cost savings going forward, positively impacting its bottom line and strengthening its balance sheet.
The jewellery retailer also made progress in recovering money from its export debtors. PC Jeweller received remittances of around ₹142 crore during Q2 FY27 following negotiations over the outstanding receivables.
The company said the issue with its export debtors has been resolved and realisation of the outstanding amount has commenced with the latest remittance.
Separately, PC Jeweller completed fundraising of up to ₹500 crore through a preferential issue of equity shares and warrants on September 24 following the conversion of all warrants allotted to promoter Balram Garg.
