Newly Listed MV Electrosystems Stock Jumps 10% To ₹848; Here’s What’s Driving The Gain
The recently listed MV Electrosystems stock sees a sharp move after a volatile stretch since its August debut

MV Electrosystems shares surged 10% to ₹848.20 on the BSE on Wednesday, 16 September. The shares were listed on 6 August at a 22% premium. The stock has gained nearly 39% in a month however it fell 11% over the past week.

Newly listed MV Electrosystems Ltd shares returned to focus on Wednesday, 16 September, after the stock jumped 10% to an intraday high of ₹848.20 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The stock, however, remains below its recent high and has fallen over the past week. Even so, its gains since listing remain notable.

MV Electrosystems shares were listed on 6 August 2026, after the company raised ₹290 crore through its IPO. The issue was priced in the ₹400-425 range, with ₹425 as the final issue price.

The stock made a strong debut. On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), it opened at ₹520, a 22.35% premium to the issue price, while the BSE listing price was ₹519, representing a 22.12% premium.

The shares continued to gain after listing and touched a 52-week low of ₹510 in August before rising to a record high of ₹947.55 on 9 September.

The stock has since pulled back from that level. It has fallen 11% over the past week, although it is still up nearly 39% over the past month.

Despite the recent decline, MV Electrosystems shares remain well above their IPO price. At Wednesday’s high of ₹848.20, the stock was almost double its issue price.

At 2:57 pm on 16 September, the MV Electrosystems share price was trading at ₹812.30 on the NSE, up ₹35.30, or 4.66%, from the previous close.

MV Electrosystems’ latest share price move comes after the company announced that its 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 29 September 2026, at 11:00 AM.

Shareholders will vote on the adoption of the company’s audited financial statements for FY26. The AGM will also include resolutions on the appointments of Mohit Vohra and Sumit Dhawan as directors.

The company’s financial numbers for FY26 were weaker than the previous year. Sales and other income fell to ₹49.80 crore from ₹64.64 crore in FY25, according to its annual report.

MV Electrosystems also reported a loss of ₹12.63 crore for FY26, compared with a profit of ₹1.40 crore in the previous year.

The company said it plans to strengthen its core business, improve operating efficiency and look for new business opportunities.
