Mrs Bectors Food Q1 FY2026-27 Results: PAT Rises 25.5%, Shares Gain Nearly 7%

Mrs Bectors Food Specialities reported a 25.53% year-on-year (YoY) rise in consolidated net profit to ₹38.76 Cr. for Q1 FY27, while revenue from operations increased 16% to ₹548.75 Cr. EBITDA margin expanded to 13.1%, and the company’s shares ended 6.77% higher on 7 August.
Mrs Bectors Food Specialities, which owns the Cremica and English Oven brands, reported higher earnings for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. Consolidated net profit increased to ₹38.76 Cr. from ₹30.78 Cr. in the corresponding quarter last year, while revenue from operations rose to ₹548.75 Cr. from ₹472.96 Cr.
The company’s investor presentation showed Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA) at ₹72.1 Cr., up 23.8% YoY from ₹58.2 Cr. EBITDA margin expanded to 13.1% from 12.3%.
How Did Mrs Bectors Food Perform In Q1 FY27?
The June quarter brought a rise in earnings for Mrs Bectors Food. Gross profit increased 20% to ₹258.9 Cr. The company also recorded ₹54.8 Cr. in Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT), up 23.4%. Profit before tax rose 25.7% to ₹52 Cr., with profit after tax reaching ₹38.8 Cr. after a 25.5% increase.
Gross profit margin increased to 47.2% from 45.6% a year earlier. Sequentially, revenue from operations rose 12.9%, EBITDA increased 16.8%, and PAT grew 9.5% over Q4 FY26. Total expenses, meanwhile, increased 15% YoY to ₹505.36 Cr., while total income, including other income, rose 16% to ₹557.36 Cr.
Biscuit And Bakery Segments Record Higher Revenue
The biscuit segment, comprising domestic, exports and CSD operations, recorded revenue of ₹325 Cr. in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹281 Cr. in Q1 FY26, representing 16% YoY growth. Compared with Q1 FY25, the segment was up 19%. Bakery revenue reached ₹215 Cr., up 18% from ₹183 Cr. in Q1 FY26 and 40% compared with Q1 FY25. The segment includes retail and institutional operations.
Managing Director Anoop Bector said the 80-basis-point improvement in EBITDA margin came despite elevated input costs and global supply-chain disruptions, supported by cost optimisation initiatives.
What Is Changing Across Mrs Bectors Food’s Operations?
Mrs Bectors Food has expanded its manufacturing footprint, with new bakery units in Kolkata and Khopoli commissioned in Q4 FY26. A new line at the Bhiwadi plant was also commissioned in Q4 FY26. The company currently has biscuit capacity of 1,85,880 metric tonnes and bakery capacity of 1,07,467 metric tonnes. An additional 8,541 metric tonnes of bakery capacity is planned.
