KPI Green Energy Q1 FY 2026-27 Results: Net profit fell 18% to Rs 85.6 crore even as revenue and EBITDA margin improved. The company also announced a change in its chief financial officer during the quarter

KPI Green Energy Q1 FY 2026-27 Results: Renewable energy company KPI Green Energy Ltd reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, on Tuesday, August 11.

Net profit declined 18% year-on-year to Rs 85.6 crore, compared with Rs 104 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue from operations rose 15% year-on-year to Rs 693.8 crore, compared with Rs 602.9 crore a year ago.

At the operating level, EBITDA increased 19% year-on-year to Rs 245.6 crore, compared with Rs 205.7 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA margin expanded to 35.4% from 34.1% in the corresponding quarter last year.

In its investor presentation, the company said its group target is to cross 10 gigawatt (GW) of capacity by 2030. Its portfolio capacity stood at 6.94 GW at the end of the first quarter, comprising 1.87 GW of installed capacity and 5.07 GW of capacity under work in progress. Power evacuation capacity stood at 5.1 GW, while its land bank comprised 8,657 acres.

KPI Green Energy has appointed Kapil Kriplani as its chief financial officer, with effect from August 11. Salim Yahoo has tendered his resignation and will be relieved of his duties in due course, with the effective date of cessation to be intimated separately, the company said.

Shares of KPI Green Energy fell 9% after the earnings announcement, touching an intraday low of Rs 336 on the NSE, before trading down 8.8% at Rs 336.8. The stock has declined 30% since the start of the year.
