KEC International Wins ₹1,030 Crore Orders For Transmission, Renewables And Cables; YTD Intake Crosses ₹8,600 Crore

KEC International has secured new orders worth ₹1,030 crore across transmission and distribution, renewables, and cables and conductors businesses. This takes its year-to-date order intake above ₹8,600 crore.
KEC International Limited has secured new orders worth ₹1,030 crore across its Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Renewables and Cables & Conductors businesses. The orders include projects in Bhutan, Saudi Arabia, the Americas and India.
The new order wins add to the KEC order book and expand its exposure across both domestic and international markets.
The KEC International share price closed at ₹349.60 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on 8 October 2026, down 3.56% from the previous close.
Where Did KEC International Win Transmission Orders?
KEC International's T&D business secured orders covering a 400 kV transmission line in Bhutan and an additional 380 kV transmission line in Saudi Arabia. It also won an order for the supply of towers, hardware and poles in the Americas.
The Bhutan order marks the company's re-entry into the market, while the Saudi Arabian order adds to its existing international transmission business.
What Did KEC International Win In Renewables?
The Renewables business secured an order for a 300+ MW wind project from a private developer in southern India. The company said the win adds a new marquee client to its portfolio and strengthens its position in the wind Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) segment.
The company also secured various orders for cables and conductors across India and overseas markets. These wins contributed to year-to-date order intake of more than ₹8,600 crore.
Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KEC International, said the T&D business had strengthened its order book through multiple wins, including the company's re-entry into Bhutan, while the Renewables business continued to gain momentum in wind EPC.
