Jio Platforms Q2 FY27 Results Preview: Revenue Expected To Rise 11% To ₹40,400 Crore As Investors Track ARPU Growth

Jio Platforms is scheduled to announce its first quarterly results as a listed company on 30 October 2026. The market expects double-digit year-on-year revenue growth, an addition of subscribers and improved monetisation.
Jio Platforms Limited is scheduled to announce its results for the second quarter of financial year 2026–27 on 30 October. This will be its first earnings announcement since its stock market listing. The September-quarter performance will offer investors an early look at the company’s growth and profitability as a publicly traded business.
Revenue growth is expected to be supported by subscriber additions, higher average revenue per user (ARPU) and expansion in home broadband services. Operating margins and the pace of customer monetisation will also be important indicators.
Jio Platforms share price closed the session on 29 October at ₹1,421.6 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Jio Platforms Q2 Results: Revenue And Profit Expectations
Estimates point to revenue from operations rising 11% year-on-year (YoY) and 3% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to ₹40,400 crore. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are projected to increase 17% YoY and 4% QoQ to ₹22,050 crore.
The operating margin is expected to improve slightly to 54-55% sequentially. Net profit is projected at ₹7,610 crore, a possible growth of 18% from the period last year.
The projections are based on a strong June quarter when revenue from operations stood at ₹39,173 crore, EBITDA was at ₹20,865 crore, and net profit (PAT) was ₹7,764 crore.
How Could Subscriber Growth And ARPU Influence Results?
Jio Platforms ended Q1 FY27 with 533.3 million subscribers, which included 285 million 5G users. Estimates suggest the subscriber base could reach 541.3 million in Q2.
Jio ARPU stood at ₹215.6 in Q1. It is expected to increase to around ₹219 in the September quarter. The improvement would indicate gradual monetisation gains from customer additions, higher data consumption and migration to premium services.
Investors will also be interested in knowing future tariff changes, 5G usage, broadband expansion and enterprise services. Moreover, cloud computing and artificial intelligence are expected to be important growth drivers for the company.
Reliance Industries, which still holds a controlling stake in Jio Platforms, is also scheduled to announce its Q2 results on 30 October, making the day extra significant for market participants.
