Infosys Share Price Hits 6-Year Low At ₹980.40, Recovers To Close Higher

Infosys shares came under pressure during Tuesday’s trading session, touching a six-year low as the stock extended its recent weakness.
The stock later recovered from the day’s low and finished the session higher, making Infosys the only Nifty IT constituent to end in the green.
At the close of trading on 29 September, the Infosys share price stood at ₹1,015.40 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), up 1.22% for the day.
How Did Infosys Shares Move During The Session?
Infosys touched an intraday low of ₹980.40 on the NSE before recovering to ₹1,015.40 by the close.
From the day’s low, the stock recovered 3.57%. The broader Nifty IT index, however, ended 1.5% lower, while shares of LTIMindtree and Mphasis declined by up to 4%.
What Do The Technical Levels Show?
The stock was reported to be testing a support zone around ₹980–1,000 after touching the six-year low.
On the upside, the ₹1,180–1,200 range was identified as a resistance area. The stock was also trading below its long-term 200-day moving average.
