Hindustan Composites has announced a special interim dividend significantly higher than its recent annual payouts. The company has fixed October 16 as the record date, with the dividend to be paid within 30 days of its declaration.
Hindustan Composites shares will be in focus on Tuesday, October 13, after the company announced a special interim dividend of ₹21 per share for the financial year 2026-27.
The company's board approved the dividend at its meeting on Monday, October 12. The payout amounts to 420% on the face value of ₹5 per equity share. Hindustan Composites has fixed Friday, October 16, 2026, as the record date to determine shareholders eligible to receive the special interim dividend.
The company said the dividend will be paid to eligible shareholders within 30 days from the date of declaration, in accordance with applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.
The ₹21 payout is substantially higher than the company's recent dividends. Hindustan Composites had declared a dividend of ₹2 per share in September 2026, while shareholders also received ₹2 per share in September 2025.
Hindustan Composites Dividend Record Date
Shareholders whose names appear in the company's records as eligible holders on the October 16 record date will be considered for the ₹21 special interim dividend.
The dividend announcement came after market hours on October 12. The board meeting began at 3:30 pm and concluded at 4 pm, according to the company's exchange filing.
Hindustan Composites manufactures friction materials and industrial products used across the automotive and other industries. The company is listed on both the BSE and NSE under the symbol HINDCOMPOS.
Hindustan Composites Share Price
Hindustan Composites shares ended higher in Monday's session ahead of the dividend announcement. The stock closed at ₹429.45 on the BSE, compared with its previous close of ₹415.25, after touching an intraday high of ₹440.
With the ₹21 special dividend announced after the close of trade, Hindustan Composites shares will be in focus when the market opens on October 13.
