Godrej Consumer Products Q1 FY 2026-27 Results
Godrej Consumer Products posted solid Q1 FY27 results, driven by 12% profit growth and an 18% rise in revenue.

Godrej Consumer Products posted a net profit of Rs 505 crore in Q1 2026-27, with the board approving a Rs 5 per share interim dividend and EBITDA rising 15.5 percent.

Godrej Consumer Products Q1 2026-27 Results: FMCG major Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, on Friday, August 7.

The company's consolidated net profit rose 12% year-on-year to Rs 505 crore, compared with Rs 452 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Revenue from operations increased 18% year-on-year to Rs 4,225 crore from Rs 3,571 crore in the year-ago quarter. Consolidated sales for the quarter surged 19% year-on-year, backed by underlying volume growth of 9%, with the company noting that revenue and profit growth was broad-based across all its businesses.

At the operating level, EBITDA rose 16% to Rs 801 crore, compared with Rs 693 crore in the year-ago quarter. EBITDA margin, however, contracted marginally to 19% from 19.42% a year earlier, a trend the company had flagged last month in its Q1 business update, citing exceptional cost pressures.

The company's Indonesia business grew 15% year-on-year, while sales across Africa, the USA, and the Middle East rose 47% for the quarter under review.

Alongside the results, the company's board of directors declared an interim dividend of Rs 5 per equity share of face value Rs 1 each for FY27. The record date for the dividend has been fixed as Thursday, August 13, 2026, with payment to be made on or before Saturday, September 5, 2026, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Commenting on the results, Managing Director and CEO Sudhir Sitapati said Q1 FY27 marked a strong start to the year for the company. He said net profit grew 11%, reflecting healthy underlying earnings quality even as margins absorbed some near-term commodity pressure, on the back of an exceptional performance in Africa driven by a number of countries and categories, along with extremely strong FMCG expansion. He added that India delivered a good performance, while Indonesia returned to stable growth.

Following the earnings announcement, shares of Godrej Consumer Products were trading at Rs 1,058.20 apiece on the NSE, down 1.77%.
