The newly listed Glass Wall Systems stock extends its rally after a strong IPO response.

Glass Wall Systems shares extended their post-IPO rally on Thursday, hitting ₹248.40 intraday after the issue was subscribed 81.65 times.

Shares of Glass Wall Systems (India) Ltd. continued their post-listing rally on Thursday, 17 September. The stock had already closed more than 18% higher on Wednesday after listing at a 7% premium to the ₹182 issue price.

Glass Wall Systems shares were listed after the company’s public issue was open for subscription from 8 September to 10 September 2026. The initial public offering (IPO) comprised a fresh issue of 32.97 lakh shares worth ₹60 crore and an offer for sale of 2.02 crore shares aggregating to ₹367.89 crore.

The IPO raised ₹427.89 crore and was subscribed 81.65 times overall. The retail portion was subscribed 33.18 times, while the non-institutional investor category was subscribed 79.71 times. Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) subscribed 167.93 times the shares reserved for the category.

The stock's Thursday move extended the gains seen immediately after listing. At 12:24 pm IST, Glass Wall Systems shares were trading at ₹243.74, up ₹28.89, or 13.45%, from the previous close. The stock had opened at ₹223.75 and touched an intraday high of ₹248.40, while the day's low stood at ₹222.42. The ₹248.40 level is also the stock's 52-week high.

Analysts tracking the stock have pointed to several operating factors that could remain important in the near term. These include the company's ability to maintain revenue and earnings growth, execute projects, convert its order book and sustain operating profitability.

The performance of upcoming results will also be relevant, particularly for the execution of facade and fenestration projects, margins and cash-flow generation.

Glass Wall Systems operates in the facade and fenestration solutions segment and serves customers in India as well as international markets, including the US and Australia.

The broader market opportunity is another factor cited by analysts. India's facade market grew from ₹3,730 crore in FY20 to ₹9,060 crore in FY26, representing a 15.9% CAGR. It is projected to reach ₹14,410 crore by FY30, implying a 12.3% CAGR.

The luxury fenestration market in India stood at ₹3,210 crore in FY26 and grew at a 14.9% CAGR between FY20 and FY26.

Glass Wall Systems reported a sharp increase in its FY26 financials. Total income rose 64% to ₹471.43 crore in FY26, from ₹288.14 crore in FY25. Profit after tax increased 46% to ₹83.79 crore, compared with ₹57.51 crore a year earlier.

At the upper IPO price band of ₹182 per share, the company had a post-issue market capitalisation of ₹1,600 crore. This translated into a FY26 P/E multiple of 19.1x and an EV/EBITDA multiple of 14.47x.

Analysts have highlighted the company's integrated facade capabilities, international presence, marquee client base and backward integration into glass processing as factors supporting its longer-term growth visibility.
