Eternal Share Price: Stock Gains Over 2% as Blinkit Adds iPhone 18 Pro Delivery

Eternal Share Price Today: Shares of Blinkit parent Eternal rose over 2% to Rs 329.75 after the quick-commerce platform began delivering Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max within minutes in select cities. The launch coincides with a steep 20-43% price hike across Apple's new lineup in India, driven by memory cost inflation and rupee depreciation.
Eternal shares gained over 2% on Friday after its quick-commerce platform Blinkit started offering Apple’s latest iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max for delivery in select Indian cities.
The stock rose 2.29% to ₹329.75 on the NSE during the session before giving up some of the gains.
Blinkit’s latest move comes as the platform expands beyond groceries and daily essentials into categories such as smartphones, electronics and other higher-value products.
Apple’s latest Pro models went on sale in India on Friday, September 18. Blinkit has made the new smartphones available through its platform in select cities, giving customers the option to order the devices for rapid delivery.
The move adds Apple’s latest premium smartphones to Blinkit’s growing electronics portfolio. The quick-commerce platform has been expanding its presence in categories beyond its traditional grocery and household essentials business.
For Eternal, the expansion allows Blinkit to use its delivery network for a wider range of products, including items with significantly higher transaction values than everyday essentials.
iPhone 18 Pro Price in India: Check Latest Model Prices
The iPhone 18 Pro is priced between ₹1,64,900 and ₹3,14,900 in India, depending on the storage variant. The iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at ₹1,79,900 and goes up to ₹3,29,900.
The pricing of Apple’s latest premium smartphones has also drawn attention to higher memory component costs and currency movements. Industry researchers have cited these factors, along with India-specific taxes and other costs, as contributors to the higher prices.
CyberMedia Research has attributed the pricing pressure to rising DRAM and NAND costs, along with basic customs duties, tax structures, channel margins and rupee depreciation.
Counterpoint Research has also highlighted India’s 18% GST on smartphones and foreign exchange pressures when comparing local prices with those in the US.
Blinkit: Quick-Commerce Platform Expands Into High-Value Electronics
The iPhone launch adds to the wider expansion of quick-commerce platforms into electronics and other non-grocery categories.
Blinkit has been increasing the range of products available through its delivery network, with smartphones and consumer electronics forming part of this broader product mix.
The availability of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max on launch day gives the platform another high-value product category while extending its quick-delivery proposition beyond routine household purchases.
For Eternal, the development keeps the focus on Blinkit’s contribution to the company as it continues to build out its quick-commerce business across Indian markets.
