Delta Corp shares fell more than 6% on Wednesday as investors reacted to the casino operator’s September-quarter results, which showed a sharp swing into losses from a profit a year earlier. The company reported a consolidated net loss of ₹106.41 crore for Q2 FY27, compared with a net profit of ₹25 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from operations declined 13% year-on-year to ₹159.34 crore from ₹182.76 crore. Total income, including other income, also fell to ₹164.05 crore from ₹190.68 crore in the year-ago period.
The results included an exceptional provision of ₹136.92 crore linked to GST liabilities, which weighed on the company’s quarterly performance.

Casino Gaming Revenue Falls In Q2 FY27
The casino gaming business remained Delta Corp’s largest revenue contributor, but its performance weakened during the quarter.
Revenue from casino gaming fell to ₹151.28 crore in Q2 FY27 from ₹174.76 crore a year earlier. The segment’s result also declined to ₹26.67 crore from ₹31.11 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The hospitality business reported a smaller revenue decline, with revenue falling to ₹7.85 crore from ₹8.31 crore. However, the segment’s loss widened to ₹4.54 crore from ₹2.74 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Delta Corp said flooding at The Deltin, Daman, forced the property to suspend operations for 37 days during the September quarter. Normal operations resumed on August 29, 2026, affecting hospitality revenue for the period.
Delta Corp Reports ₹319 Crore Loss In First Half
The weakness in the September quarter added to the company’s losses for the first half of FY27. Delta Corp reported a consolidated net loss of ₹318.83 crore for the six months ended September 2026, compared with a net profit of ₹54.56 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Revenue from operations for the first half declined to ₹327.89 crore from ₹366.93 crore a year earlier.
The latest results reflect pressure on revenue across Delta Corp’s key businesses, alongside the exceptional GST provision and the disruption to operations at its Daman hospitality property.
