Deepak Nitrite Q1 FY 2026-27 Results: PAT More Than Triples To ₹345.01 Crore

Deepak Nitrite Q1 Results FY 2026-27: Boosted by strong growth in the Phenolics and Advanced Intermediates businesses, consolidated PAT more than tripled to ₹345.01 crore. Revenue also rose 36.4% to ₹2,577.6 crore.
Deepak Nitrite Q1 FY 2026-27 results saw the company report sharp growth in both revenue and profitability. Consolidated revenue from operations rose 36.4% year-on-year (YoY) and 21.6% sequentially to ₹2,577.6 crore, while total income increased 35.4% YoY to ₹2,591.6 crore.
Profitability improved at a much faster pace. Consolidated profit before tax (PBT) jumped 202% YoY to ₹467.6 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) attributable to owners more than tripled to ₹423.3 crore, compared with ₹112.3 crore in the year-ago quarter and ₹224.6 crore in Q4 FY26. Earnings per share (EPS) increased to ₹25.30 from ₹8.23 a year earlier and ₹16.11 in the previous quarter.
Deepak Nitrite Q1 FY27 Results: Key Highlights
Operating profitability improved with Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) rising 216% YoY and 51% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to ₹484.7 crore. Finance cost remained largely stable sequentially at ₹18.9 crore, although it was sharply higher than a year ago. Employee benefit expenses increased to ₹110.9 crore, while power and fuel expenses stood at ₹120.4 crore, reflecting higher operating activity.
The company also recognised ₹21.5 crore as government incentive income during the quarter, compared with ₹17.2 crore in the corresponding period last year. Unlike FY26, the June quarter did not include any exceptional items, providing a clearer reflection of operating performance.
Both operating businesses delivered higher revenue during the quarter, with the Phenolics segment continuing to account for the larger share of the business. Segment revenue increased 36.1% YoY and 24.2% sequentially to ₹1,775.1 crore, while segment EBIT surged 254% YoY and 45.8% QoQ to ₹417.8 crore, making it the biggest contributor to the improvement in overall profitability.
The Advanced Intermediates business also reported healthy growth. Revenue rose 32.8% YoY and 13.6% QoQ to ₹803.9 crore, while segment EBIT climbed 88.8% YoY and nearly doubled sequentially to ₹67 crore.
The group's asset base continued to expand alongside business growth. Total segment assets increased 18.1% year-on-year to ₹9,464.6 crore, while segment liabilities rose 31.2% to ₹3,250.7 crore.

With such results, the company’s stock is likely to be in focus when trading resumes next. At the close of the day on 4 August 2026, Deepak Nitrite’s share price was ₹1,717.7 on the National Stock Exchange.
