Ceigall India commissioned its first 5 MW solar plant under MSKVY 2.0 ahead of schedule, forming part of a 147 MW project in Maharashtra.

Ceigall India Limited has commissioned its first 5-megawatt (MW) solar power project under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 (MSKVY 2.0) in Maharashtra.

Ceigall India said the commissioning marks a milestone in its expansion into renewable energy and strengthens its presence in solar power generation.

Ceigall Green Energy MH2 Limited has commissioned a 5 MW solar power plant at Ranjangaon Deshmukh village in Maharashtra. The subsidiary is wholly owned by Ceigall India Limited.

The project forms part of the company's broader 147 MW solar power project being developed and executed by the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) under MSKVY 2.0. The first 5 MW unit has been brought into operation ahead of the scheduled commissioning date.

The early commissioning also makes the project eligible for the applicable incentive under MSKVY 2.0, according to the company's regulatory filing dated 31 August 2026. The company had first informed the exchanges about the project on 25 March 2026.

The Ceigall India Ltd. share price closed at ₹341.35 on 31 August 2026. The stock gained 0.10%, during the session. The stock's 52-week high stood at ₹405.70.
