Blue Cloud Softech Shares Jump 13% On US$15.5 Million IBM Cloud Order

Blue Cloud Softech shares rose over 13% after its US subsidiary Global Impx won a US$15.5 million order from IBM Cloud. The ₹147-crore contract covers AI infrastructure design, deployment and support.
Blue Cloud Softech Solutions shares rose sharply on Friday after the company announced that its US subsidiary, Global Impx Inc., had secured a US$15.5 million (₹147 crore) order from IBM Cloud Inc.
The order is a fixed-fee contract. It covers the design, deployment and support of infrastructure for artificial intelligence workloads.
Global Impx will set up infrastructure for AI and machine-learning applications, including model development, training, fine-tuning and inference. The project will cover GPU computing, high-performance storage and networking, along with AI/ML platforms and Kubernetes-based orchestration.
At 11:10 AM, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions' share price stood at ₹23.00 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), up 14.66% from the previous close.
IBM Cloud Project Includes Security And Support
The scope also includes security systems, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery arrangements.
Global Impx will carry out performance testing and documentation before handing over the system for production use. The contract also includes a stabilisation and support period after the production handover.
Work on the project began on 24 September, according to the company's exchange filing. Payments will be made against five milestones, starting with the project kick-off and ending with production go-live.
The contract also comes with specified service levels. Infrastructure and GPU availability have been set at a minimum of 99.5%, while critical alerts are required to be raised within 15 minutes and critical incidents responded to within 30 minutes.
Global Impx Wins Order Within Three Months Of Joining Group
The Statement of Work has been issued under a Master Services Agreement signed between Global Impx and IBM Cloud on 21 August 2026.
Blue Cloud Softech said the order highlights the US subsidiary's role in its AI infrastructure business. Group Chairman Tejesh Kumar Kodali said the company expects AI infrastructure work to become an important part of its business as more AI applications move into production.
Managing Director and Group CEO Vinod Babu Bollikonda said the company's teams had already started work and would execute the project against the agreed milestones and service levels.
