Asset Reconstruction Company Shares Hit 10% Upper Circuit, Record High After Q1 Revenue More Than Doubles

ARCIL's first quarterly results after its September market debut drew a strong response on Dalal Street, sending the newly listed stock to its upper price band and a fresh record high.
Asset Reconstruction Company (India) shares jumped 10% to hit the upper circuit and a record high on Wednesday, October 7, as investors reacted to the company's first quarterly results since its stock market listing in September. The rally came after ARCIL announced its audited Q1 FY27 results following market hours on Tuesday.
ARCIL's consolidated revenue from operations more than doubled to ₹234.74 crore in the June quarter from ₹109 crore in the year-ago period. Profit attributable to the company rose about 54% year-on-year to ₹89.15 crore from ₹57.83 crore, while earnings per share increased to ₹2.74 from ₹1.78.
The results triggered a sharp reaction in the recently listed stock, which had ended Tuesday's session at ₹145.74. Wednesday's 10% surge also took Asset Reconstruction Company shares further above the ₹139 IPO price at which the stock made its market debut on September 17. The latest rally comes less than a month after ARCIL's listing, putting the stock back in focus following its first earnings announcement as a listed company.
