Aditya Infotech Board Clears Rs 1,500 Crore Equity Fundraise; QIP, Public Issue Among Options
Aditya Infotech plans to raise ₹1,500 crore through equity shares after strong Q1 FY27 profit growth.

Aditya Infotech's board approved a plan to raise up to Rs 1,500 crore through equity shares, coming after a strong Q1 FY27 that saw profit surge 332.5% year-on-year on robust CP PLUS demand.

Aditya Infotech is looking to raise up to Rs 1,500 crore, with the company’s board approving the proposed equity fundraise on Wednesday, August 19.

The company will explore one or more routes for the issue, including a public offering and Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP). The fundraise could also combine multiple permitted methods, subject to shareholder approval and clearances from the relevant regulatory and statutory authorities.

The proposed equity issue may be completed in one or more tranches, with the pricing to be determined in line with applicable regulations.

Shareholders’ approval will be sought through a postal ballot. Aditya Infotech has also formed a committee to handle the various aspects of the proposed fundraising exercise, with the postal ballot notice to be filed with the stock exchanges separately.

The company has not yet disclosed a specific use of proceeds for the proposed Rs 1,500 crore issue.

The capital-raising plan follows a strong performance in the June quarter.

Aditya Infotech’s Q1 FY27 revenue rose 89.5% year-on-year to Rs 1,402.4 crore, helped by strong demand for its CP PLUS business. IP products made up around 79% of the CP PLUS portfolio.

Profitability also improved sharply during the quarter. Gross margin expanded to 30.8%, up 810 basis points from a year earlier, while EBITDA increased 220% to Rs 207.8 crore. EBITDA margin stood at 14.8%.

Adjusted profit after tax jumped 332.5% year-on-year to Rs 142.2 crore, helped by lower finance costs and better cost efficiencies.

Aditya Infotech currently has manufacturing capacity of 2.5 million units a month.

The company expects capacity at its Kadapa facility to double over the next two years. Separately, its new Housing & Enclosure Plant is scheduled to begin operations by Q3 FY27 and is eventually expected to have annual capacity of 30 million units.

Shares of Aditya Infotech ended 1.15% lower at Rs 3,303.50 on the NSE on Wednesday.
