Adani Enterprises Shares Slip 2% After Promoter Entities Swap 86 Lakh Shares
Adani Enterprises shares decline after Adani group entities execute an 86 lakh-share bulk deal worth ₹2,498.30 crore.

Adani Enterprises shares fell over 2% in Monday morning trade after promoter group entities executed a bulk deal involving 86 lakh shares. The transaction saw Adani Infra (India) and Adani Properties acquire shares from Infinite Trade And Investment.

Adani Enterprises shares declined over 2% in morning trade on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on 28 September 2026 after 86 lakh shares changed hands among promoter group entities through separate block deals on the previous Friday.

The stock opened at ₹2,922.50 against its previous close of ₹2,914.95.

At 11:05 am on Monday, Adani Enterprises shares stood at ₹2,852.50, down 2.14% on the BSE. While on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the stock was down 2.25%.

The Adani bulk deal involved the shares being transferred between entities within the promoter group.

  • Adani Infra (India) purchased 34.5 lakh shares.

  • Adani Properties acquired 51.5 lakh shares.

Both purchases were executed at an average price of ₹2,905 per share. Together, the acquisitions represented a transaction value of ₹2,498.30 crore.

On the other side of the transaction, Infinite Trade And Investment Limited sold 86 lakh shares at the same price of ₹2,905 per share. The sale reduced the entity's holding in Adani Enterprises to 1.38% from 2.01% earlier.
