LIC CFO Shatmanyu Shrivastava To Superannuate
LIC CFO Shatmanyu Shrivastava to superannuate on September 30 after about two months in the role.

Shrivastava joined LIC in 1990 and has held several senior roles across finance and risk management. The insurer has also seen other changes in its top management in September.

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) Chief Financial Officer Shatmanyu Shrivastava is set to retire on September 30, just over two months after taking charge as the insurer's finance chief.

Shrivastava was appointed Executive Director (Finance & Accounts) and CFO with effect from July 28, replacing Sunil Agrawal, who had resigned from the position. Before moving to the finance function, Shrivastava was Executive Director (Enterprise Risk Management) and Chief Risk Officer at LIC.

The latest change comes as LIC sees a series of senior management changes. Shrivastava joined the corporation in 1990 and has spent more than three decades with the insurer.

Shrivastava took charge as LIC's CFO on July 28 after the company's board approved his appointment. His appointment was to continue until superannuation or until further orders, whichever was earlier.

He had earlier served as Chief (Finance & Accounts) at LIC's central office from May 2022. He was also involved in the corporation's first closing of accounts after its IPO.

Shrivastava is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Insurance Institute of India. He has also cleared seven papers of the actuarial examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India.

Shrivastava's retirement follows other changes in LIC's senior management this year. The corporation's board records show Dinesh Pant ceased to be a managing director from September 24, 2026. LIC has also made changes across its finance, risk management and compliance functions.

Shrivastava's successor as CFO has not been announced in the latest disclosure. LIC's official key managerial personnel records currently list Shrivastava as Chief Financial Officer along with its other senior executives.
