Marcellus' Mutual Fund Business
Marcellus said the mutual fund platform will allow it to access a larger pool of household savings as it enters India's mutual fund industry.
The firm currently offers investment strategies through PMS and AIF structures. Its mutual fund business will add a new offering to the existing portfolio.
Pramod Gubbi, Managing Director and CEO of Marcellus Mutual Fund, said the firm will focus on building its fund house with an emphasis on processes, communication and execution.

Marcellus Expands Beyond PMS & AIF
Marcellus Investment Managers was established in 2018 by a group of investment professionals. Mukherjea is the firm's founder and Chief Investment Officer.
The firm's existing offerings include PMS and AIF strategies. It has also operated a fund management entity in GIFT City. Its non-retail fund management licence was converted into a retail licence in February 2026.
The mutual fund approval comes as Marcellus prepares to take its investment business to a broader investor base.
Mukherjea said the mutual fund structure would allow the firm to pursue its investment approach at a larger scale through a regulated and accessible format.
