Indian markets rebounded sharply as easing oil prices lifted sentiment. Bosch India, Aditya Birla Capital, TeamLease and Honeywell posted key developments, while Jubilant FoodWorks and Whirlpool reported weak quarterly performances.

Benchmark indices, the Nifty 50 and the Sensex, recovered all their intraday losses during the final hour of trading and ended Wednesday’s session in the green. The Nifty 50 rose 0.17% to settle at 23,659, while the Sensex gained 0.16% to close at 75,318.39. The broader market also witnessed positive momentum, with the Nifty Midcap 100 advancing 0.49% and the Nifty Smallcap 100 rising 0.04% higher.

Aditya Birla Capital Ltd

The financial services company said its board has cleared a ₹4,000 crore preferential equity issue to promoter Grasim Industries, Aditya Birla Group-backed Suryaja Investments Pte. Ltd., Singapore, and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The fundraising is aimed at supporting expansion plans and strengthening the company’s capital position.

Bosch India

The company posted a robust fourth-quarter performance, aided by healthy demand in the automotive segment, especially from the two-wheeler and passenger vehicle categories. Bosch India also announced a dividend of ₹270 per share.

Jubilant FoodWorks

The company reported a mixed set of March quarter results, with net profit declining on a year-on-year basis and revenue growth slowing to its weakest pace in two years.

Glenmark Pharma

Ichnos Glenmark Innovation (IGI), the company’s clinical-stage biotechnology arm focused on oncology, unveiled a new development candidate, ISB 2301, targeting multiple solid tumour indications.

Honeywell Automation India Ltd

The engineering services firm reported a 14.2% increase in consolidated net profit to ₹160 crore for the fourth quarter, compared with ₹140 crore in the same period last year.

TeamLease Services

The company announced stable fourth-quarter earnings and approved a share buyback worth up to ₹238 crore. The board cleared the repurchase of up to 14.87 lakh equity shares at ₹1,600 apiece through the tender offer route.

Whirlpool of India Ltd

The home appliances maker reported a 32.7% decline in fourth-quarter net profit at ₹80.2 crore, down from ₹119.2 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

JK Cement Ltd

The cement manufacturer said it has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from the Andhra Pradesh government for the mining lease of the Dommarnandyala Block-3 limestone reserve.

ITC, LG Electronics India, Life Insurance Corporation of India and FSN E-Commerce Ventures Nykaa are expected to release their Q4 results today.
