  • Japan’s Topix fell 2.2%.

  • US-Iran War: The tension between the two war-stricken countries seems to be easing now. US President Mr Donald Trump has stopped fresh attacks on Iran and is hopeful of a swift deal.

  • Oil Prices: Global oil prices witnessed a sharp dip on Monday morning as easing tensions in the Middle East improved sentiments.

  • Rupee Opens Higher: The Indian National Rupee (INR) opened 0.25% higher at 95.1450 per US dollar on Monday. The previous close was at 95.38.
