Sensex and Nifty 50 traded higher on positive global cues, with broader markets outperforming. Earnings drove stock-specific moves. Read more.
The Sensex and the Nifty 50 remained in the positive territory mid-trade following positive developments on global fronts. At 12:04 pm, the Sensex was up 0.61%. The Nifty 50 was also up 0.53% at the same time.
Broader markets were also in the green. At 12:05 pm:

Nifty Midcap 100 index was up 0.48%

Nifty Smallcap 100 index was up 1.02%
The Nifty Chemical, Nifty PSU Bank, and Nifty Financial Services indices outperformed, while the Nifty IT and Nifty Metal indices remained under pressure.
