RITES And CRISIL Join Hands To Develop Data-Driven Infrastructure Solutions

RITES and CRISIL have partnered to offer data-driven infrastructure consultancy solutions across railways, highways and energy sectors in India and abroad. Read more about the collaboration and its focus areas.
Transport infrastructure consultancy and engineering firm RITES Ltd on Wednesday, 27 May, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CRISIL Ltd to jointly develop integrated, data-driven infrastructure consultancy solutions.
The partnership will combine RITES’ experience in transport infrastructure and engineering consultancy with CRISIL’s strengths in analytics, research, market intelligence and data-driven insights to support infrastructure projects in India and overseas.
RITES Limited shares ended at ₹206.25 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), up 0.51%, while CRISIL Limited settled at ₹3,988.55, down 0.69% after the announcement on Wednesday.
At 2:48 PM today, RITES shares were trading at ₹202.72, down 1.57%. Meanwhile, CRISIL shares traded at ₹3,992.50, up 0.13%.
What Will The RITES And CRISIL Partnership Focus On?
Under the agreement, both companies will jointly explore consultancy assignments and infrastructure opportunities across several sectors. These include railways, metro rail, highways, expressways, airports, ports, bridges, tunnels, ropeways, urban transport, hydropower, wastewater management and industrial infrastructure.
The companies said the partnership is aimed at building stronger analytical and advisory support for infrastructure projects. The collaboration will also cover financial due diligence, market intelligence, valuation support, data validation and the development of analytical models for consultancy assignments handled by RITES.
Why Does This Collaboration Matter?
The partnership comes at a time when India is seeing a sharp rise in spending on transport and urban infrastructure from both the government and private companies. As more large projects take shape across the country, the focus is increasingly shifting towards better planning, stronger data analysis and more accurate project evaluation.

RITES and CRISIL hope to benefit from a collaboration between their engineering expertise and analytical capabilities.
