Nestle India Q2 FY 2026-27 Results Preview: Profit May Cross ₹1,000 Crore As Strong Volume Growth Drives Revenue
Nestle India Q2 FY27 results preview: Strong volume growth may drive revenue higher and push quarterly profit above ₹1,000 crore.

Nestle India heads into its September-quarter earnings after reporting strong growth in Q1. Apart from the headline profit and revenue numbers, volume growth and margins will be important as the FMCG major navigates raw-material costs.

Nestle India is expected to report another strong quarter when it announces its Q2 FY27 results on Thursday, October 15, with healthy volume growth likely to support revenue and profit during the July-September period.

Estimates indicate that the Maggi and Nescafé maker could see its quarterly profit cross the ₹1,000-crore mark, while revenue is expected to record strong double-digit growth from a year earlier. HDFC Securities expects Nestle India's Q2 revenue to grow around 21% year-on-year, while EBITDA and adjusted profit after tax are estimated to rise 30% and 37%, respectively.

The results will follow a strong June quarter for Nestle India, when consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹6,378.18 crore, up 25.2% from a year earlier. Consolidated net profit came in at ₹958.68 crore, registering growth of more than 48% year-on-year.

Volume growth is expected to remain one of the main drivers of Nestle India's September-quarter performance. The company has been focusing on volume-led growth across its portfolio, which includes Maggi, Nescafé, KitKat, Milkmaid and Cerelac, while expanding its reach across urban and rural markets.

The broader FMCG sector is also expected to see better topline growth during the September quarter, helped by a favourable base and selective price increases. However, the impact of raw-material costs remains an important factor for margins.

For Nestle India, HDFC Securities expects revenue to increase around 21% year-on-year in Q2 FY27, with EBITDA growth of about 30% and adjusted PAT growth of 37%. If earnings broadly track these estimates, the company would extend the strong growth reported in the previous quarter.

In Q1 FY27, Nestle India had reported revenue from operations of ₹6,378.18 crore, compared with ₹5,095.98 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Consolidated net profit increased to ₹958.68 crore, while operating profit stood at ₹1,515.46 crore.

Nestle India shares were trading around the ₹1,310-1,320 level during Tuesday's session ahead of the results. The stock had closed at ₹1,324.70 on Monday.

The stock has traded between ₹1,159.40 and ₹1,553 over the past 52 weeks, while the company's market capitalisation is around ₹2.55 lakh crore.

Apart from revenue and profit, the Q2 results will put the focus on volume growth, EBITDA margins and management commentary on demand and raw-material costs. Investors will also look for whether the volume momentum seen in the June quarter continued through the September quarter and how the company sees demand developing during the festive period.

Nestle India's board is scheduled to meet on October 15 to consider and approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026.
