Infosys and Harness have partnered to support AI-driven software delivery. With the collaboration, the companies aim to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and automate processes.
Recently, one of India's tech giants, Infosys, announced another partnership this year, this time with the AI platform Harness. As per the press release filed with stock exchanges, the company stated that it will integrate its Topaz Fabric and Cobalt cloud capabilities with the Harness Software Delivery Platform to improve productivity and streamline engineering services.
How Did Infosys Shares React To The Announcement?
Soon after the announcement was made public, the Infosys shares rose by 2.59% during the day, hitting the mark of ₹1,340 on 7 April 2026. However, the shares have declined nearly 18% in the calendar year 2026.

Why Did The Two Companies Join Hands?
The two companies are aiming to offer integrated solutions to support large-scale modernisation of workflows and transformation programs. Infosys leadership emphasised that the integrated solutions will address issues that engineering teams face on a daily basis, which reduces efficiency.
For instance, the post-coding activities of the engineering team are fragmented and cumbersome. This process leads to bottlenecks and errors, causing delays in releases. With the integrated solution, Infosys and Harness plan to automate workflows from coding to production through AI intervention.
Salil Parekh, Chief Executive Officer, Infosys, said, “As AI accelerates change, enterprises need delivery systems that are faster, more reliable, and governed by design. Our collaboration with Harness combines Infosys Topaz and Infosys Cobalt offerings to help clients unlock AI value and translate their AI ambition into scalable, reliable execution – with trust and governance built in."
Further, Jyoti Bansal, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Harness, said, “As AI accelerates code generation, the real challenge for enterprises is ensuring that innovation reaches production safely and efficiently."
He added, "By bringing Harness’s intelligent delivery platform together with Infosys’ deep enterprise expertise, we’re helping organisations deliver AI-driven software innovation with greater speed, predictability, and control.”
