IIFL Finance Q2 FY 2026-27 Results Preview: AUM Growth And Asset Quality In Focus Ahead Of October 15 Earnings
IIFL Finance Q2 FY27 results preview focusing on AUM growth, asset quality, gold loans and profitability ahead of October 15 earnings.

IIFL Finance will report its September-quarter results on October 15 after a strong Q1, when AUM crossed ₹1.15 lakh crore and PAT reached ₹713 crore. The pace of loan growth, asset quality and performance of its gold loan, mortgage and secured MSME businesses will be among the key areas to watch.

IIFL Finance is set to announce its Q2 FY 2026-27 results on Thursday, October 15, with investors likely to track whether the non-banking financial company can sustain the strong growth seen in the first quarter. The company's board will meet to consider and approve the standalone and consolidated unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2026.

The September-quarter numbers come after IIFL Finance reported assets under management (AUM) of ₹1,15,523 crore in Q1 FY27, up 38% year-on-year. Profit after tax before non-controlling interest stood at ₹713 crore, rising 14% sequentially, while net revenue was ₹2,202 crore.

Asset quality, the pace of AUM growth and the performance of the gold loan portfolio will therefore be important numbers to watch in Q2. IIFL Finance had earlier said that while growth in gold loans could moderate, the segment would remain an important growth engine, with mortgages and secured MSME loans expected to gain momentum during FY27.

IIFL Finance entered the second quarter with nearly 90% of its loan book secured and had indicated an aim of delivering around 25% year-on-year AUM growth in FY27. The Q2 numbers will show how the loan book progressed against that trajectory following the sharp expansion recorded in the June quarter.

Asset quality will be another key monitorable. At the end of Q1 FY27, IIFL Finance's gross non-performing asset ratio stood at 1.6%, while the net NPA ratio was 0.8%. The provision coverage ratio stood at 94%.

The mix of growth will also be important. Management had said after the June-quarter results that gold loans had powered growth, although their pace could slow, while mortgages and secured MSME lending were expected to pick up. Investors will therefore be watching whether growth became more broad-based during the September quarter.

Profitability will be tracked against a strong first-quarter base. IIFL Finance reported consolidated revenue of ₹3,919 crore in Q1 FY27, up 32.7% year-on-year, while consolidated net profit rose sharply from the year-ago period.

IIFL Finance shares were trading at around ₹606 on October 13, ahead of the quarterly results. The stock's 52-week high stands at about ₹705, while its 52-week low is around ₹409. The company had a market capitalisation of approximately ₹25,862 crore.

Apart from the headline profit and revenue numbers, the market will be watching AUM growth, asset quality, credit costs and management commentary on gold loans, mortgages and secured MSME lending for indications on the company's growth trajectory through the remainder of FY27.

IIFL Finance has scheduled its Q2 FY27 earnings conference call for 5 pm on October 15, following the announcement of the September-quarter financial results.
