Benchmarks remain range bound in today’s trading session. They, however, still managed to finish in the green. At the close of trading:

Sensex stood at 73,895.74, up 0.43%

Nifty 50 stood at 23,140.50, up 0.34%
Broader markets finished mixed. While the Nifty Midcap 100 ended 0.14% lower, the Nifty Smallcap 100 finished 0.15% higher. Sector-wise, the Nifty IT underperformed and closed 0.17% lower. On the other hand, Nifty Realty outperformed and closed 0.92% higher.

Though oil prices dipped over a percent in early trade, on hopes of a truce between the US and Iran, they still remained elevated. At around 15:38, Brent crude November futures stood at $105.48 per barrel. At the same time, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude November futures stood at $92.92 per barrel.
Gold And Silver Prices Today
Gold and silver traded higher on the Multi-Commodity Exchange of India (MCX). At 15:39, MCX gold prices for October 2026 futures stood at ₹1,51,657 per 10 grams, up 0.63%. At the same time, MCX silver prices for December 2026 futures stood at ₹2,36,114 per kg, up 1.13%.
