Tempsens Instruments shares began trading on a positive note on the domestic stock exchanges. The stock opened at ₹631.20 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), it opened at ₹634 apiece.
Tempsens Instruments IPO And Subscription Details
Tempsens Instruments’ initial public offering (IPO) opened for subscription from 20 August to 24 August. The issue comprised a fresh issue of 32 lakh shares aggregating ₹95 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 1.85 crore shares worth ₹555 crore.
The company had fixed the IPO price band at ₹285–₹300 per share, with a lot size of 50 shares. At the upper end of the price band, retail investors needed to invest a minimum of ₹15,000 to subscribe to one lot.
The IPO was subscribed 184.07 times during the bidding period, according to NSE data. Investors placed bids for 2,79,44,59,050 shares against 1,51,81,667 shares on offer.
Non-institutional Investors (NIIs) led the demand, with their portion subscribed 314.44 times. This was followed by qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) at 302.88 times and retail individual investors (RIIs) at 60.69 times.
