Shiprocket has raised ₹727 crore from anchor investors ahead of its initial public offering (IPO), which opens for subscription on Wednesday, 12 August 2026.

The IPO has a price band of ₹92–97 per share. Shiprocket allotted 7.5 crore shares to anchor investors at the upper price of ₹97 per share.

The anchor book attracted several large institutional investors from India and overseas. SBI Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund, and Nippon India Mutual Fund were among the domestic participants. Global investors included Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Nomura Funds Ireland, Mirae Asset, and Societe Generale.

Shiprocket is looking to raise up to ₹1,617 crore through a combination of fresh issue and an offer for sale (OFS). The IPO lot size is 154 shares, with one lot costing retail investors ₹14,938 at the upper price band of ₹97 per share.

Three-quarters of the issue has been set aside for qualified institutional buyers. Retail investors get 10%, while non-institutional investors have the remaining 15%.

The OFS portion of the Shiprocket IPO will give some of the company’s existing investors a chance to sell their shares. Lightrock, Tribe Capital, Moore Strategic Ventures, and Agility International Investment are among those offloading shares.

Founders Gautam Kapoor, Saahil Goel, and Vishesh Khurana are also among the selling shareholders.

The company plans to use the fresh issue proceeds mainly for marketing and technology infrastructure. It will also use part of the funds to repay or prepay certain borrowings, explore acquisitions, and meet general corporate expenses.

The IPO comes at a time when some new-age companies have been more cautious about going public because of investor sentiment and valuation concerns. Companies such as PhonePe, Zepto, Curefoods and Boat have delayed their listing plans.

Shiprocket operates through two broad segments: Core Business and Emerging Business. Its core operations cover domestic shipping and shipping applications, while the emerging business includes fulfilment, cargo, cross-border shipping, advertising and marketing solutions, capital services and hyperlocal deliveries.

According to the Redseer Report, Shiprocket was India's largest new-age, end-to-end horizontal e-commerce enablement platform by revenue from operations in fiscal 2026.
