RK Fashion Accessories shares list at ₹80 on NSE SME, down 2.44% from the IPO price of ₹82 after 2.7x subscription.

RK Fashion Accessories made a weak market debut on October 12 as its shares listed at ₹80, a 2.44% discount to the IPO price of ₹82. The ₹34.99 crore SME issue had received bids for more than 2.7 times the shares on offer.

RK Fashion Accessories shares made a weak stock market debut on Monday, October 12, listing at ₹80 on the NSE SME platform, 2.44% below the IPO issue price of ₹82.

The ₹2-per-share discount meant investors who received shares in the IPO started with a notional loss at the listing price. Individual investors were required to apply for at least 3,200 shares, involving an investment of ₹2,62,400 at the upper end of the price band. At the ₹80 listing price, the holding was valued at ₹2,56,000, translating into a notional loss of ₹6,400 on the minimum application size.

The weak debut came after the ₹34.99 crore RK Fashion Accessories IPO received bids for more than 2.7 times the shares on offer during the three-day bidding period. The issue, which was open from October 5 to October 7, was entirely a fresh issue of 42.67 lakh shares and had a price band of ₹77 to ₹82 apiece.

Demand was strongest from qualified institutional buyers, whose portion was subscribed 14.11 times, while the retail investor category was booked 3.11 times. The non-institutional investor portion was also fully subscribed.

The company finalised the basis of allotment on October 8 and shares were credited ahead of the October 12 listing.

RK Fashion Accessories plans to use the IPO proceeds for working capital and expansion. This includes setting up a plating facility and a B2B showroom, along with spending on interiors, furnishing and inventory for a proposed B2C showroom and stores. The remaining amount will be used for general corporate purposes and issue expenses.

Kolkata-based RK Fashion Accessories is engaged in the imitation jewellery business and gets its products manufactured through contract manufacturers and job workers. It sells through wholesale and retail channels and also trades in branded cosmetics.

Imitation jewellery contributed around 81.8% of its revenue in FY26, while cosmetics accounted for around 16.1%.
