Paras Healthcare Sets 21 October As IPO Launch Date For ₹1,450 Crore Issue Backed By Creador And 360 ONE
Paras Healthcare prepares to launch its ₹1,450-crore IPO on 21 October

Paras Healthcare will launch its ₹1,450-crore IPO on 21 October, comprising a ₹500-crore fresh issue and a ₹950-crore offer for sale. The hospital chain plans to use ₹375 crore from the fresh issue to repay debt.

Paras Healthcare will open its ₹1,450-crore initial public offering (IPO) on 21 October, giving investors an opportunity to buy into the hospital chain backed by private equity investors Creador and 360 ONE.

The Haryana-based healthcare provider filed its red herring prospectus (RHP) with the Registrar of Companies on 14 October. The issue will remain open until 23 October, while institutional investors can bid in the anchor book on 19 October.

The company is expected to finalise the share allotment by 26 October, with listing scheduled for 28 October. The price band is due to be announced on 15 October.

JM Financial, BofA Securities India and Nuvama Wealth Management are managing the IPO.

Paras Healthcare IPO comprises a fresh share sale worth ₹500 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹950 crore. Promoter Dr Dharminder Kumar Nagar will sell shares worth ₹300 crore, while Commelina, an affiliate of Malaysian private equity firm Creador, will offload shares worth ₹650 crore.

The planned issue is smaller than the ₹1,800 crore offering proposed in the draft papers refiled in June 2026. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) cleared the IPO documents in August.

Nagar holds a 72.8% stake in Paras Healthcare. Public shareholders own the remaining 27.2%, including Commelina with 16.44%, 360 ONE with 6.37% and Axis New Opportunities AIF with 3.63%.

Paras Healthcare plans to use ₹375 crore from the fresh issue proceeds to repay debt. Its consolidated outstanding fund-based borrowings stood at ₹888.9 crore.

The balance of the fresh issue proceeds will go towards general corporate purposes. The money raised through the offer for sale will go to the selling shareholders rather than the company.

Paras Healthcare operates eight hospitals under the Paras Health brand across North India, Bihar and Jharkhand. The network has a combined capacity of 2,211 beds and provides tertiary and quaternary healthcare services.

The company plans to expand its footprint with two new facilities. A 300-bed hospital is planned in Gurugram, while a 600-bed facility is proposed in Ludhiana. The hospitals are expected to open in the current financial year and the next, respectively.

The expansion is intended to take Paras Healthcare's total bed capacity to 3,011 by March 2028.

Paras Healthcare reported a net profit of ₹49.6 crore in the June 2026 quarter, compared with a loss of ₹1 crore in the same period a year earlier. Revenue rose 27.7% to ₹470.3 crore from ₹368.4 crore.

For the financial year ended March 2026, the company posted a net profit of ₹43.8 crore, against a loss of ₹57.9 crore in FY25. Revenue increased 24.1% to ₹1,606 crore from ₹1,294 crore.
