Lumino Industries made a strong debut on the stock exchanges, with its shares listing at a premium of 34% after the company’s initial public offering received robust investor demand.

Lumino Industries’ shares made a strong debut on the domestic stock exchanges. They listed at a premium of 34%. On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the stock opened at ₹110 apiece.

On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Lumino Industries’ share price at listing stood at ₹109 apiece.

Lumino Industries’ initial public offering (IPO) was open for subscription from 27 August to 31 August, with the company fixing the price band at ₹78–₹82 per equity share. The ₹700-crore issue comprised a fresh issue of ₹500 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹200 crore by promoters Devendra Goel and Jay Goel. The minimum bid size was 182 shares.

The Lumino Industries Ltd IPO received a strong response from investors, with the IPO subscribed 118.12 times by 31 August, according to data from the NSE. Investors bidded for 7,46,59,52,130 equity shares against 6,32,05,127 shares available.

Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) led the demand, with their portion subscribed 221.43 times. The non-institutional Investors (NIIs) quota was subscribed 176.42 times, while the retail investor portion was subscribed 38.50 times.

Lumino Industries Ltd is an integrated engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and manufacturing company catering to the power transmission and distribution industry.

The company manufactures a range of products, including conductors, power cables, electrical wires and other specialised equipment used in power infrastructure. It has manufacturing facilities in Howrah, West Bengal, and serves customers across power transmission, distribution, industrial and renewable energy segments.
