Karamtara Engineering IPO Listing: Shares List At Over 25% Premium

Karamtara Engineering shares listed at a premium of over 25% on the domestic stock exchanges. The issue was oversubscribed by 66.01 times overall and 13.98 times in the retail category.
Shares of Karamtara Engineering began trading on the domestic stock exchanges on a positive note. They listed at a premium of over 25%. The stock opened at ₹320 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), a premium of 25.98%. On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), it opened at ₹320 apiece, translating into a premium of 25.98%. The issue price was ₹254 per share.
Karamtara Engineering IPO And Subscription Details
The ₹875-crore Karamtara Engineering initial public offering (IPO) opened for subscription on 9 September 2026 and closed on 11 September. The mainboard IPO received a good response from investors, with the overall subscription reaching 66.01 times.
The qualified institutional buyer (QIB) quota received the maximum subscription, with the reserved portion getting subscribed by over 168.9 times. The non-institutional investor (NII) category was subscribed by 51.17 times, whereas the retail portion was subscribed by 13.98 times (as per the exchange data).
The IPO comprised a fresh issue of 2.66 crore equity shares worth ₹675 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 78.74 lakh shares worth ₹200 crore.
