Jio Platforms IPO 2026: RHP Filed, Opens On 21 October With ₹3,000 Crore Reserved For Employees And RIL Shareholders

Jio Platforms Limited has filed its RHP for a 27-crore-share IPO opening on 21 October 2026. It includes total reservations of up to ₹3,000 crore for eligible employees and Reliance Industries shareholders.
Jio Platforms Limited, the digital services subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), has filed its Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat, at Ahmedabad. Its eagerly awaited initial public offering (IPO) will open on 21 October 2026.
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of up to 27 crore equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each. The offer also includes reservations of up to ₹2,500 crore for eligible Reliance Industries shareholders and up to ₹500 crore for eligible employees.
The Jio Platforms IPO is expected to be India's largest public issue. The reported price band is ₹1,065–₹1,119 per share, although final confirmation remains awaited. The company is targeting a valuation of around ₹10.3 lakh crore and could raise up to ₹30,200 crore at the upper end of the reported price band.
What Are The Key Dates For The Jio Platforms IPO?
The anchor investor bidding date is scheduled for 19 October 2026, two days before the public issue opens. The Jio Platforms IPO subscription window will run from 21 October to 23 October, both days included.
What Is The Jio Platforms IPO Shareholder Quota?
Of the shares reserved for specific investor categories, up to ₹2,500 crore will be allocated for eligible Reliance Industries shareholders. Eligible employees will have a reservation of up to ₹500 crore. Together, these reservations amount to ₹3,000 crore.
Eligibility for the Reliance Industries shareholder reservation is linked to holding public equity shares in the parent company as of 14 October 2026, the RHP filing date. But this is subject to the applicable eligibility criteria and regulatory restrictions. Investors should check the RHP for the complete terms.
How Large Could The Jio Platforms IPO Potentially Be?
The reported price band of ₹1,065–₹1,119 per share implies a potential valuation of around ₹10.3 lakh crore. At the upper end of the reported band, the company is looking to raise up to approximately ₹30,200 crore.
The IPO consists of a fresh issue of up to 27 crore shares, rather than an offer for sale by existing shareholders, according to the reports. The issue could therefore become India's largest IPO, surpassing Hyundai Motor India's ₹27,800 crore public issue in 2024.
