The Indo-MIM IPO had attracted strong participation during its subscription period from 23 July to 27 July. The issue was subscribed 72.34 times overall and was fully subscribed on the opening day itself, reflecting broad investor interest. The company had also raised around ₹1,141 crore from anchor investors ahead of the public issue.
Indo-MIM Listing Time
The Indo-MIM listing time followed the normal stock market schedule (normally 10 am), with the shares making their market debut on Thursday after the completion of the IPO process.
The Indo-MIM IPO was among the closely watched public issues in the engineering manufacturing space, helped by strong subscription levels and anchor investor participation. The Indo-MIM share price listing reflected the demand seen during the bidding process.
Proceeds To Reduce Debt
Indo-MIM said it will use ₹400 crore from the fresh issue to prepay or repay certain outstanding borrowings. The remaining funds will be used for general corporate purposes.
The company, incorporated in 1996, manufactures precision engineering components using Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) technology. It offers end-to-end manufacturing solutions and supplies components to customers across industries.
Growth Outlook Backed By Manufacturing Trends
According to market experts, the company's ability to scale its business is one factor being cited in discussions around the stock's long-term prospects.
They noted that Indo-MIM is the global leader in metal injection moulding with the world's largest installed MIM capacity. The company also serves as a preferred supplier to several global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
According to industry estimates, the global MIM market will expand from $3.2 billion in 2026 to $4.7 billion by 2035, implying a compound annual growth rate of 4.4%.
Experts also feel that Indo-MIM stands to benefit from the China+1 manufacturing strategy adopted by global companies, India's production-linked incentive (PLI) schemes and continued growth in domestic manufacturing. Compared with its closest listed global peer, which trades at more than 148 times earnings, Indo-MIM's valuation appears relatively reasonable.
