Deepa Jewellers IPO alert: ₹460 crore issue opens September 1
Deepa Jewellers IPO opens on September 1 with a ₹460 crore issue.

Deepa Jewellers will open its ₹460 crore IPO on September 1, with the price band fixed at ₹168-177 per share.

Deepa Jewellers is set to hit the primary market next week, with the Hyderabad-based jewellery company fixing the price band for its ₹460 crore initial public offering at ₹168-177 per share.

The IPO will be open for subscription from September 1 to September 3, while the anchor investor bidding will take place on August 31. The company's shares are scheduled to debut on both the BSE and NSE on September 8.

At the upper end of the price band, the issue is valued at around ₹460 crore and would give Deepa Jewellers an implied post-issue market capitalisation of approximately ₹1,700 crore.

The public issue consists of a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to ₹250 crore, along with an offer for sale (OFS) of more than 1.18 crore shares.

The company plans to use the proceeds from the fresh issue primarily to meet its long-term working capital requirements. This includes funding the procurement, maintenance and expansion of its inventory. A portion of the funds will also be used for general corporate purposes.

Under the IPO allocation, qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) will receive 50% of the offer, while 15% has been set aside for non-institutional investors. Retail investors will have 35% of the issue reserved for them.

Emkay Global Financial Services and Valmiki Leela Capital are the book-running lead managers for the issue. Bigshare Services will act as the registrar.

Founded in 2016 by Ashish Agarwal, Deepa Jewellers operates as a B2B designer, processor and supplier of hallmarked gold jewellery.

The company is based in Hyderabad and has a presence across Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It designs and processes jewellery through an outsourced manufacturing model, working with a network of karigars.

According to the CRISIL Report, Deepa Jewellers is among the key processors and suppliers of vaddanam, also known as oddiyanam, as well as machine-cut bangles. Its products are supplied to jewellery retail chains and standalone jewellery stores.

As of November 2025, the company had a portfolio comprising 14 products and 76 stock keeping units (SKUs).

With the IPO now scheduled to open on September 1, investors will have three days to place their bids before the issue closes on September 3.
